“Say it isn’t so. This must be a bad nightmare! Michael Jackson cannot be dead!”

This is what I keep telling myself, over and over again.

I am still in shock, as is the rest of the world…

Love him or hate him, he was truly a pop icon of massive proportions. In fact, I can’t think of another human being (still alive) on earth that is possibly more famous than Michael Jackson.

Although he was talked about more recently for his personal life than his talents, he definitely still had millions and millions of fans throughout the world who would weep tears of joy at the mere sight of him. He brought happiness to many people, and he will be greatly missed!

I, personally, would like to remember Michael Jackson more for his musical talents than his issues in his private life.

Michael Jackson is NOT dead! He will live on in our memories forever…

Whenever someone we know dies, famous or not, we tend to reflect on our own lives and remember just how fragile and precious life is.

As you read this post and think about your own life, ask yourself if you are living life the way you truly want to live it. If not, what are you going to do to change it?

Pursue life with passion,

Rob

A very nice post. I am not a big fan of Michael Jackson, but I certainly am aware of him. I think everyone around the world has probably heard the name or the music. I guess I am just in shock, awe and disbelief. If he was much older or had health issues, such as Farrah Fawcett it would have been a little more expected. This was just so sudden and out of the blue. 50 is very young and does make you appreciate how precious life actually is.

I really did like MJ because of his music and his songs explain everything about life. No matter where you come from or how you are, we’re all family. We came from one thing that is sitting just above our heads. MJ «maybe» gone but his Spirit is still forever living as he is on another whole new journey. MJ, You Rock My World!

Just ran across this post, I love the way you wrote it.

Btw, my thoughts exactly – there’s nobody more famous than Michael and he should be remembered as an amazing artist, but also as a person, a wonderful human being.

    Michael Jackson meant/means a lot to me… I miss him so much…
    The memories will live forever…
